The Reading Rush 2019 Tbr

Hello readers,

sooooo, I've decided to participate in The Reading Rush.

If you don't know, it's a Read-A-Thon which was previosly called BookTube-A-Thon, it takes place every year usually around the month of July or August and its aim is to connect people all around the world through the act of reading.

It was created by two canadian BookTubers back in 2013, Ariel Bissett and Raeleen Lemay and this year it runs from July 22th to July 29th.

During this week readers try to read as much as they can and in this they are helped by the Reading Challenges, which aren't mandatory, but you can decide to do them to challenge yourself. 

And this here is my post in which I try to find a book for every challenge and set up my Tbr pile. The past years the last challenge was to read seven books, but it was changed, anyways I still challenge myself to do so.
One last thing before we start, this year The Reading Rush has it's own website in which you can create your profile and share your progress with other readers.

Alloooora, ho deciso di partecipare a The Reading Rush.
In caso voi non lo sappiate, si tratta di un Read-A-Thon conosciuto precedentemente con il nome di BookTube-A-Thon, il quale si svolge ogni anno, generalmente verso Luglio o Agosto. Il suo obiettivo è quello di mettere in contatto persone provenienti da tutto il mondo tramite la lettura.
È stato creato nel 2013 da due BookTubers canadesi, Ariel Bissett e Raeleen Lemay e quest'anno si svolgerà dal 22 fino al 29 luglio.
Durante questa settimana noi lettori tenteremo di leggere il più possibile, aiutandoci nella scelta dei libri con le Sfide di Lettura, le quali non sono obbligatorie, ma si può decidere si attenervisi come sfida con se stessi.
Questo qui sarà quindi il post in cui tenterò di trovare un libro per ogni sfida, arrivando a costruire la mia Tbr. L'anno scorso l'ultima sfida era quella di leggere sette libri, e sebbene quest'anno sia facoltativa, ho deciso di provarci comunque.
Un'ultima informazione prima di passare alla Tbr, quest'anno The Reading Rush ha anche un sito specifico, molto carino, in cui ci si può creare il proprio profilo per condividere con gli altri i propri progressi.

1. Read a Book with Purple on the Cover

Leggi un libro con del viola in copertina

"The Anchoress" by Robyn Cadwallader.
I lent this book from the library, I didn't know the author or the plot, but i needed a book to fill out this challenge. This was the least horrible among the others in the English section.  And I guess this has purple on the cover... do you think so?

Ho preso in prestito questo libro in biblioteca, non conosco l'autore e neppure la trama, avevo semplicemante bisogno di un libro per questa sfida. Questo era il meno peggio tra quelli della sezione in Inglese.
E suppongo che abbia del viola in copertina... cosa ne pensate?

2. Read a Book in the Same Spot the entire Time

Leggi un libro nello stesso posto per l'intera durata della lettura

"Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley.
I think I am going to enjoy this book. The plot is really interesting and it's a dystopian novel, so sign me in!
And for the spot I think I'm going to choose the garden or the black lake.

Credo che questo libro mi piacerà molto. La trama è molto interessante e si tratta di un distopico, quindi ci sto.
E per il posto penso che sceglierò il giardino o il lago nero.

3. Read a Book you meant to read Last Year

"All Rights Reserved" by Gregory Scott Katsoulis. 
This book seems so good and I've been wanting to read it for years. Now it's time. Now I will also be part of this terrible world in which every word and every gesture is copyrighted, if you use it you should pay for it.

Questo libro sembra così bello e lo volevo leggere da un sacco di anni. Adesso è arrivato il momento. Adesso anch'io diventerò parte di questo mondo nel quale ogni parola ed ogni gesto è sottoposto a copyright, se lo si utilizza, ha un costo.

4. Read an Author's First Book

"The Anchoress" by Robyn Cadwallader.
Yes, again. You can use the same book for multiple challenges. Firstly I didn't want to do that, but I have problems in finding English books here, so I'm going to follow this rule.
This book is her debut novel and I really hope it's decent.

Sì, di nuovo. Si può utilizzare lo stesso libro per più sfide. Inizialmente non volevo farlo, ma poi ho ceduto, perché trovare dei libri in Inglese qui è proprio difficile.
Questo libro è il debutto letterario dell'autrice e spero che sia decente.

5.Read a Book with a Non-Human Main Character 

Leggi un libro il cui protagonista non sia umano

"Animal Farm" by George Orwell. 
All the characters from this book are animals so I guess that it's the perfect choice. I don't have a strong desire to read it though, but I have to for my English holiday homework.
I recently discovered that Ariel has made a joke about choosing this challenge to oblige a large number of people to read this book. I really didn't know about that, but I have to read it anyways. So Ariel, you won.

Tutti i personaggi di questo libro sono animali, quindi ritengo che questo sia il libro perfetto. Non mi attira molto però, è solo che lo devo leggere come Lettura Obbligatoria per Inglese.
Ho poi scoperto recentemente che Ariel aveva fatto una battuta sul fatto di aver inserito questa challenge per obbligare un gran numero di persone a leggere questo libro. I non ne sapevo niente, davvero, ma devo leggerlo comunque. Quindi Ariel, hai vinto.

6. Read a Book that has Five or More Words in the Title

Leggi un libro il cui titolo sia composto da cinque o più parole

"Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" by Robert Louis Sevenson.
The real title would be "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde", 8 words.
I did alreday read this book in Italian, but now I have to read it in English. So here I am. I loved it the first time, maybe in the original version I'll love it even more.

Il titolo originale sarebbe "Lo Strano Caso del Dr Jekyll e del Signor Hyde, 9 parole.
Avevo già letto questo libro in Italiano, ma adesso devo rileggerlo in Inglese. Quindi eccomi qui. Ho amato questo libro la prima volta che l'ho letto, magari nella versione originale mi piacerà ancora di più.

7. Read and  Watch a Book to Movie Adapatation

"The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde.
I've read some short stories by Oscar Wilde before, during my English lessons, and I really like his writing stile. For this book in particular I have already read it in Italian, but I don't think it's a problem. I really want to read it again. This book was fantastic.

Avevo letto delle short stories di Oscar Wilde durante le ore di Inglese e mi piace molto il suo stile. Questo libro in particolare l'ho già letto in Italiano, però non credo che sia un problema. Non vedo l'ora di rileggerlo. Questo libro è fantastico.

Read Seven Books

Leggi sette libri

"The Silent Companions" by Laura Purcell.
I'm going to read this book in Italian, because I gifted it to my sister and she's going to lend it to me for this challenge. Is seems really interesting and I love that it is set in the year 1865.

Leggerò questo libro in Italiano, perché mi sarà gentilmente prestato da mia sorella, alla quale l'ho regalato per il compleanno. Sembra molto interessante e adoro il fatto che sia ambientato nel 1865.

Read a 5 star book

Leggi un libro da 5 stelle

This one can be understood in many ways. As a book wich is rated 5 stars on Goodreads, or one to which you have given 5 stars in your review or maybe a predicted 5 star read.

I'm going to choose the latter, one of the books of my Tbr will be rated 5 stars, I don't know which one, but I will say "The Picture of Dorian Gray" or "Brave new World. We will see.

Questa può essere intesa in vari modi. Come un libro che abbia una valutazione di 5 stelle su Goodreads oppure uno al quel hai dato 5 stelle in una recensione o ancora uno al quale pensi che darei 5 stelle.

I ho scelto quest'ultima, uno dei libri che ho scelto per la mia Tbr sarà da 5 stelle, non so quale, ma direi o "Il Ritratto di Dorian Gray" o "Un Mondo Nuovo". Vedremo.
