🅔🅝🅖 Hello readers,
this day started terribly.

🅘🅣 Ciao a tutti lettori,
questa giornata è iniziata in modo terribile.

🅔🅝🅖  I went to two bookshops where I had ordered two books in English for this Read-A-Thon and they didn't have them.
The booksellers had told me that they would arrive at the end of this week and I was prepared for that.
But now I'm really angry because they made me feel as if I was silly, when it was their fault because they told me a date that wasn't right and had the courage to ask me over and over again other informations about my order, getting annoyed and clearly treating me as someone who doesn't understand the language. 
Firstly, if I give you more informations, the book will not magically appear and secondly I understand German really good, do not think I don't understand you only because of my accent.
It was really unfair to tell me a date, without being sure about it and then when I come in that date saying to me "We don't know when it will arrive". If you don't know you should have let me clearly know that that was a probable date, not a certain one.
I planned everything based on them and I was really disappointed. All my plans for The Reading Rush failed because of them.
I promised to myself that, after going there next week to get there two books next week (which should finally be there), I will never go to either of those bookshops again. Even though they are the only bookshops in this small city, I'll find other one in the vicinity.

🅘🅣 Sono andata in due librerie dove avevo ordinato due libri in Inglese per questo Read-A-Thon e non li avevano.
Le libraie mi avevano detto che sarebbero arrivati alla fine della settimana ed ero pronta a questo.
Ma adesso sono molto arrabbiata perché mi hanno fatta sentire come se fossi stupida, quando era colpa loro, perché mi avevano detto una data che non era quella corretta e hanno anche avuto il coraggio di chiedermi ancora e ancora altre informazioni sul mio ordine, irritandosi e trattandomi come una che non comprendesse la lingua.
Primo, se vi do maggiori informazioni, il libro non apparirà magicamente e secondo, capisco il Tedesco e anche molto bene, non credete che non vi capisca soltanto a causa del mio accento.
È stato veramente scorretto dirmi una data, senza esserne certi e poi quando arrivo in quella data dirmi "Non sappiamo quando arriverà". Se non lo sapete avreste dovuto farmi capire chiaramente che la data che mi avevate detto era una data ipotetica, non certa.
Ho pianificato tutto basandomi su di loro e sono rimasta molto delusa. Tutti i miei piani per The Reading Rush sono crollati a causa loro.
Ho promesso a me stessa che, dopo essere andata a prendere i due libri la settimana prossima (libri che dovrebbero essere finalmente arrivati), non metterò più piede in nessuna di queste due librerie. Anche se sono le uniche librerie presenti un questa minuscola città, andrò da qualche parte nelle vicinanze.

🅔🅝🅖  I returned home furious with the booksellers and with myself. Without those books I couldn't complete all the challenges. But my mother gave me the idea: I could rush to the library and get some. So I took my bike and rode as fast as i could. I got "Animal Farm", which was one of the two books I had ordered at the bookshop, and "The Old Man and the Sea".

🅘🅣 Sono tornata a casa furiosa con le libraie e con me stessa. Senza quei libri non potevo completare tutte le sfide. ma mia mdare mi ha dato un'idea: potevo correre fino in biblioteca e prendere in prestito alcuni libri lì. Quindi ho preso la bici e ho pedalato più veloce che ho potuto. Ho preso "La Fattoria degli Animali", che era uno dei due libri che avevo ordinato in libreria, e "Il Vecchio e il Mare".

🅔🅝🅖 Then, back home, I rode with my family to a cute place nearby where there was a table and two benches, to have a picnic. 
It went well, not as a real picnic should be, but good enough.

🅘🅣 Dopo, di ritorno a casa, sono andata in bici assieme alla mia famiglia fino ad un posto carino vicino a casa, con un tavolo e due panche, per fare un picnic.
È andato bene, non come dovrebbe essere un vero picnic, ma era adeguato.

🅔🅝🅖  As far as the reading aspect of it, I finished "The Silent Companions"! Finally!
I brought it with me to the picnic and then read all day.
It was pretty good, but my expectations were higher.
I liked the story, but the writing style was not that great and I didn't like that some things were left unexplained. Also the ending, really disappointing.
With this book I completed the challenge of "read a book you meant to read last year".

🅘🅣 Per quanto riguarda l'spetto della lettura, ho finito "Gli Amici Silenziosi"! Finalmente!

L'ho portato con me al picnic e pii ho continuato a leggerlo per tutto il giorno.

Era piacevole, ma le mie aspettative erano molto più alte.

Mi è piaciuta la storia, ma lo stile di scrittura non era il massimo e non ho apprezzato il fatto che alcune cose fossero lasciate irrisolte. E poi il finale, davvero deludente.

Con questo libro ho completato la sfida di "leggere un libro che volevi leggere l'anno scorso".
